Two-Factor Authentication
What is 2FA?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an electronic authentication method in which a device user is granted access to an application only after successfully presenting two or more pieces of evidence to an authentication mechanism.

HIPAA Force is a secure solution for your business. We care a lot about our customers, so we’ve added 2FA to HIPAA Force.

2FA is a security system that requires two distinct ways of identification to access the account.

In other words, 2FA adds a layer of security to the account login process by requiring that a user provide two ways of authentication. The first step is your password. The second step is a code in your email inbox or SMS.

How it works at HIPAA Force?

Once you enable this feature, our system adds a layer of security to your account. When logging in to HIPAA Force, after providing your username and password, you will be asked for a two-factor authentication code that is delivered to your email inbox.

The two-factor authentication ensures that a person who has discovered your password will not be able to log in to HIPAA Force as you.
